I’m Stephanie, a person-centred counsellor who believes deeply in the power of being truly heard. My work is grounded, gentle, and steady. I offer a calm space where you can arrive exactly as you are — without pressure, judgement, or expectations.
My path into counselling has come from a place of wanting to understand people on a deeper level and create a space where they feel safe enough to explore what’s going on inside. I’m drawn to supporting those who feel overwhelmed, stuck, quietly struggling, or carrying things on their own.
I don’t see you as a list of issues or problems.
I see you as a whole person — someone with experiences, strengths, fears, hopes, and a unique story.
If you choose to work with me, we take things at your pace. You’ll never be rushed or pushed. This is your space, and I meet you gently where you are.
I work in a person-centred way. This means:
You lead the pace. We explore what matters most to you when you’re ready.
The relationship is central. Feeling safe, accepted, and understood is at the heart of our work.
I won’t judge or direct you. Instead, I offer warmth, presence, and a grounded space to explore.
You are the expert on your life. My role is to walk alongside you, not to analyse, fix, or tell you what to do.
Person-centred counselling creates room for you to notice, understand, and make sense of your feelings in a way that’s supportive and empowering. It often brings clarity, relief, and a deeper connection with yourself.
Clients often describe their sessions as:
Our work together is never about forcing change — it’s about gently understanding yourself and finding your own way forward.
